Step 1 Right-click on an empty space of the Desktop and select New > Shortcut from the menu.
(Right click > New > Shortcut)
step 2 Click on Browse button and Choose the path of the desired software
[e.g. for Mozilla firefox just browse C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe]
step 3 After completing cick on Next button and give the name to that shortcut .
[e.g. for Mozilla firefox = fs]
step 4 Now click on Finish button.
step 5 Now you can see a shortcut icon created on the desktop.
Cut the Shortcut Icon and paste it in C:\WINDOWS folder.
(you must need administrator privileges to do this.)
step 6 Here you finished all the setup and now ready to run the software.
Now check it by typing ‘fs’ in the Run. You can see firefox opening in new window.
